八大馬
On Saturday, I had a Kung-fu examination. I had to do a set of kung-fu moves called ‘八大馬’. I felt a little bit excited because it was the first time I had had an examination.

I suppose it's only natural to feel a little bit excited when you have an exam for the first time. I think you did very well in your kung-fu exam last Saturday. You did all the required moves and remembered to bow to the judges at the end. You also paid close attention to other athletes, and appreciated their efforts and performance. You are such a good sport. I am proud of you. From Papa, with lots and lots of love.

Now I feel that my examination was not that excited because I already joined a competition before.

This is just one more reason for you to take part in more competitions - this way you improve by learning from others and from your own performance.
